T.BAG'S CHRISTMAS CAROL

The T.Bag series ran for nine seasons (94 episodes in total) between 1985 and 1992. It was made by Thames Television and shown during Children's ITV.

This excerpt is from the second Christmas special (Original ITV TX: Tuesday 26/12/1989)

T.Bag is having a wonderful Christmas, ruining the festive season for as many people as possible. She's turned Sally into a street urchin, transformed kindly old spinster Emily Scrumptious into a 'mean old miserly misery guts,' and she's spiked a Christmas hamper, intended for impoverished writer Giles Pickens, with an exploding Christmas pudding. This clip features the very last appearance of Elizabeth Estensen in the title role. When the series returned in January 1990, she was replaced by Georgina Hale.
