Pyschadelic folk shanty - this song is in a genre of it´s own. Like somebody says below, when the flute kicks in it is really magical, just as the name of the band/album suggests.

This song stuns me every time I listen to it.

Beautiful song.

Didn't detract from it one iota. Good job.

Some of the best songwriting i have ever heard. x

Really well put together this little vid, a nice personal take on one of my all-time favourite songs.
Like you say, ethereal.
Reminds me of a quiet dawn at New Brighton.

truly amazing.

That flute around 3:40 makes my spine tingle! A beautiful song by a very underated songwriter

Could that first line be "I saw a Colleen"?
Colleen = Irish for 'pretty girl'

@Floorwarm Yeah, I realised that at the time i made the vid, but from when I first heard the song way back, without any lyrics, and with such a heavy accent involved, this is sort of how I pictured it,with an unemployed guy sitting watching the world go by at the docks with nothing better to do,and eventually starting to go there to visit the sailing ship with the figure head that begins to remind him of the girl that he never forgot..
It's a pretty surreal song anyways,so it helps. :-)
