Yes its true that we Muslims are generally socially conservative and support republicans on social issues ie gay issue

However, republicans openly hate Muslims. People like Ann coulter if given the chance would drive muslims out of america. so we have to choose between republicans who openly hate us and democrats who we don't support on social issues.

so we pick the lesser evil. so we voted for Obama.

And I believe the Obama supporters who insulted you were total dorks who do not deserve him or any president at all, as bad as the McCain supporters who called for Obama to be killed and suspected him of being a radical muslim in disguise. I support President-elect Obama entirely but I have utmost respect for John McCain and his supporters. In fact Foxnews was the only network to cover an anti-Terrorist (no PC rewrite) Muslim rally with US and Israeli flags flown ( they weren't set on fire) in Michigan. We hate Islamists who want to force us to covert and will murder us if we refuse. If Muslims are so worried about "being driven out of America" why was they only 50 Muslims protesting Terrorism (which over 90% of the time comes from Muslims).
