My neighbor farms with horses

My next door neighbor,Mathura was harrowing his field with his Haflinger horses. It's a pleasant sight and there isn't the sound of a tractor engine roaring away. The field had been flooded just a couple weeks ago.The creek came over the bank and washed out his cover crops. In working up the silt that had been deposited he found that there was a lot of organic matter brought in by the flood."The creek giveth and the creek taketh away"

Mathura's brother in law Krishna Chaitanya,uses oxen . It's in the long range plan for Mathura .He's got cows and goats, so far all his calves have been cows.When the boys show up , he'll put them to work. He wasn't planning on getting horses, but came across them at a very good price and wanted to phase out his tractor usage.
