If you ask me, the Beatles can't touch this. And a number of other Moody Blues songs too!

I hear ya--I'm 40 and never remember a time w/o these songs. Back in Feb. I *finally* found an ad for the same model console we had growing up ('65 Magnavox), bought it for $100. Just popped on "In Search of the Lost Chord" (folks gave me all their albums--they don't have a use for them), watched the turntable do its magic, cranked it up, shut out the lights, and. . .indeed--peace and compassion.

As cool as this clip is and so many others on youtube....there are none that can beat the feeling of listening to the vinyl record on a turntable late at night (or even on a 'rainy afternoon') and just letting all those thoughts flow, above and beyond the distractions of this world. I'm 43 and have loved these songs since I was 14 - peace and compassion!!
