Pratik, it does not matter who built Mumbai. well actually the British built Mumbai. What matters is Mumbai is a part of Maharashtra - you may think it is NY-like, cosmpolitan but at the end of the day - it is the capital city of Maharashtra. Everyone is welcome to come to Mumbai. Raj's stance is anyone who comes should adopt marathi culture and live in accordance with laws. don't build slums, drive illegal taxis, steal electricity just coz Mayawait and Laloo wont develop UP/Bihar!

That's the only problem with you (i wont blame all UPites coz not all of them are like you).First of all many come to mumbai to get a better future.That's not the problem.But they live in Mumbai in their own way(hope you understood) making the image of Mumbai and Maharastra bad.

@chandrama1 I have no grudges agaistUPorUPite.I understand that people r poor and they'll run to the Big city for jobs. But friend how long this going to work... UP already has low economical growth rate due to poor administration and you just can come and do the same for other places. I fail to understand why UP can not develop considering its rich heritage, fertile land and excellent natural beauty. this question always saddend me.U may not like it but u need neta like Raj.

@chandrama1 Believe me if we do that hindi film industry will collapse and those people who are running it will die. We r not against people who are already in mumbai since some time, they have in no doubt helped this city to grow (and they grew along with this city too) but what abt NEW immigration. This city cant hold this forever incoming immigration wave. We dont ban tatas because they are HELPING to make conditions BETTER. they are not burdening us... do u understand that sir?

why dont u ban hindi film industry which has its base in bombay(wat i prefer to call) but is run by north india and may be whole of india?

why dont u ban tatas having there base in jamshedpur altough they r parse but they have to come north to make their fortune?same goes for birlas....yes it is stupid and regrettable tht people frm up and bihar go to join become sweeper and gangman in maharastra.

@kulkarniprabhanjan thanks for you comments bro, but there are many people living in maharashtra when he or his forefathers were not even born but they are not maharastrian, may be they are muslims and bhaiyaas and today you want them to leave maharashtra and speak marathi if wanna leave there
