  • stop clapping motherfuckers!!

  • Good sound quality! Thanks for posting! I just saw the concert in Portland, OR. SO GOOD!

  • i think they keep clapping cause its showing the cast and then at the end for her beautiful voice

  • im going tonight and im dressing up as a hobbit!!!!!

  • @xoxoLeni oh well i get it, sorry i was unaware of that :)

  • @dimasrahadian I performed in this concert, and the way it worked was that we were performing to the movie. The actors were there and this was one of the only chances they got to honor all of the people. Personally, I wanted to clap along with them, but that's a different story. In conclusion, I just wanted to mention that this was in essence about the movie. It was a movie with live music, but it wasn't a concert. I understand why you would feel that way, I just wanted to clear that up.

  • the first time in an opera, i must clap the whole time.....dumpasses!

  • People were clapping as the credits were rolling. So when they saw the name of their favorite actor, or perhaps COMPOSER HOWARD SHORE. the audience expressed their appreciation.

There are more of these concerts coming up:

  • i agree... this is so rude to interrupt the performance with all that clapping. i wonder whether the audience did not know that... i mean, it's not a pop concert. did they play after the movie was shown? that would explain why the audience was so euphoric, and uninformed...
