  • wich program u use editing ur videos?

  • @victor2eflt Pinnacle 14

  • Great quality - well done. HD is good for us folk who will never see one live. One thing tho - this is National Train Day? Where is everyone?? In Brisbane, Queensland, Australia I've seen more train spotters at the local station watching the daily freight train go thru.

  • This is one day before National Train Day, when very few people knew it would be arriving. I wanted to get SP4449 When you could see it without all the people in the way.

  • I think it's the last one running

  • Thanks, no but you can go to my play list for SP 4449 and play all

  • I passed this with extememe frustration last year I was on the way West on the Empire Builder sitting in the dineing car when I heard SP 4449 east on my scanner we were comeing into Havre Montana so I thought the dispacher would allow 4449 into town but oh no he held 4449 outside town for us to do our station work and we left blowing past them sitting in a sideing well out of town too close for a shot from Amtrak oh well I have other great shots of this engine but it was still upsetting

  • @ervans smart choice I hate shooting trains like this with hundreds of people around all see to walk in the shot at the wrong times very frustrating indeed so i can relate as a railroad photographer

  • @rendraswariyanhabib If every lady in the world was like this... then would we love her?

She is nearly extinct... and the last, the best, and the fastest. A few years back hauling a load she was going north from Los Angeles cruising at an average speed of 97 MPH (thats about 155km/h for you metric folks) all on pure beautiful steam

  • If trains could have sex appeal then she'd be Norma Jeanne

  • This engine is equipped with a Worthington SA feedwater heater and pump. The heater is a chamber in the smokebox where exhaust steam from the cylinders mixes with the feedwater. The water level in the heater is controlled by the water level, the level controlling the steam supply to the turbine pump supplying the heater. Those 2 small pipes are part of the this system.

  • yes 4449 is the last GS-4 engine that survives.

  • what are the the 2 wire things on left side of the smokebox for?
