@movadoband Hebrew tradition they knew merchandising wasn't allowed on Temple grounds but figured God wouldn't care. No one was greatly surprised about Jesus' actions because He was technically in the right - they were just surprised and offended someone actually had the nerve to say something so publicly dramatic.

It's not like He carried a whip with Him everywhere to keep people in line :D

@kandiamo he actually screamed and whipped people who didn't get it, busted up shops and what not...the man who started christianity never met jesus in real life...it was a vision of jesus after he had ascended....god has been misrepresented by those claiming to know him I think.

I like the way Jesus talked. Loving, to the point, no pouting or shouting. But if you do it better than Christ, go for it.

@luettem Christ never shouted from the cross: "NOW you're gonna believe in me, I bet!"  Everywhere He went people had a right to stay in their burning building if they chose. He warned plainly but never started SCREAMING AT PEOPLE who JUST DON'T GET IT! It didn't mean He didn't care, but like His Father, respected choice.

I know the burning building & try to describe it, but grabbing arms in a world where dissolving that arm in a sea of nothingness, might not be the best approach.

@kandiamo Really-If you were trapped in a burning building, would you prefer someone who felt no desperation, and took their time, or possibly after they first became aware of your imminent death, they simply moved along? Christ DIED for these people, a little more then 'chasing them down", and there will come the day when they WISH someone had done so. Eternity is Forever, with no second chance. Grabbing ones arm to pull them out of the building, leaves them to complain another day, but live
