! TABS DOWN HERE !

It was a boring evening, bla bla bla... If you watched my other videos, you know the deal now : boredom = more FF tunes.
For this one ( that you can hear in Kalm ), I decided to do something special, since it's a theme I really like: I decided to play it jazzy ! So before you spread your hate among the comments, please remember that I meant to play it kinda out of time/rythm. ; )

I think I've never got a theme so easily. Juste needed two takes for each guitar. Didn't want to do more to preserve the spontaneity of the whole thing ( plus I'm a lazy guy ). That's why there won't be any tabs for this one, unless I decide to play a regular version of it. Hope you like it 'cause this beautiful tune really mean something to me.

EDIT: As requested, here's the chord chart:

| Gmaj7 | E-7 | A-7 D7 | B-7 | Cmaj7 C-7 | Gmaj7 E-7 | A-7 | A-7b5 D7#9 |
| Gmaj7 | E-7 | A-7 D7 | B-7 | Cmaj7 C-7 | Gmaj7 E-7 | A-7 D7 | Gmaj7 | % |

| Gmaj7 | E-7 | A-7 | D7 | B-7 | E-7 | A-7 | D7 |
| Gmaj7 | E-7 | A-7 | D7 |

| Gmaj7 | E-7 | A-7 D7 | B-7 | Cmaj7 C-7 | Gmaj7 E-7 | A-7 | A-7b5 D7#9 |
| Gmaj7 | E-7 | A-7 D7 | B-7 | Cmaj7 C-7 | Gmaj7 E-7 | A-7 D7 | Gmaj7 | % |

Edit2: ForestMarth tabbed this : http://www.gametabs.net/final-fantasy-vii/ahead-on-our-way-songelereveur-version

  • Excuse moi Songe, mais que signifie le signe "%" dans le "chord chart" ???

  • @ForestMarth Même chose que la mesure précédente. =)

  • It would be cool for you to revisit this song, with the woodwind instruments you've recently started using in your vids. (Well, I dunno if an ocarina classifies as woodwind, but whatever.)

  • I thought about it, but the problem is my ocarina skills aren't good enough to cover famous tunes like this one, or Tifa's and Aerith's. I'm still having troubles with vibrato and playing good "tuned" notes. I'll definitly do it, but later. =)

  • Beautiful sounding guitar! What kind of guitar is it? Not only that, your skills are beyond amazing. I love your interpretation of this song (I usually like specific kinds of jazz, and this style is in the top of my list!). ^_^

  • Thanks ! It's an Ibanez from the AEL series.

  • now this is department store music i would love to hear as i'm shopping!

  • J'ai l'impression de jouer à FFVII en fermant mes yeux devant tes vidéos. T'es génial mec, bravo!

  • if I ever own a 5-star hotel I'm hiring two guitarists to play this non-stop.

  • Never mind! I see that you've already covered this song haha. In that case, I have another request. You should consider Eternity Memory of Lightwaves from Final Fantasy X-2 or some music from Kingdom Hearts.

  • Maybe if we get enough thumbs up we can get an encore by popular demand! SonegeLeReveur Band Version FTW!

  • @SongeLeReveur Is it time yet? So anxious!

  • Damn, that is mad sexy!

  • this is unbelievable man! I love it!

  • Dude you guys can do the entire FF7 soundtrack and turn it into a smooth jazz single. People wont even know what its from unless they are fans of FF7. Great Enterpretations!!

  • Best interpretation of a Final Fantasy song I think I've ever heard XD !!! Giving your own spin to one of the FF7 classics!
