PETCO is reaching out to animal-welfare agencies and local rescue groups in an effort to greatly increase the number of rabbits that find forever homes by offering adoptions at its stores nationwide.
I have seen the conditions the point is. If the store has a staff like the one mine has those 'conditions' don't exist.
In our store all animals are observed on the hourly animal health check if the slightest thing is wrong they are put in our wellness area and a vet is contacted. All animals are seperated by sex, and we do not sell sick animals until they've had the care they need.
I've seen the wrong conditions at Petsmart I've never seen any animal mistreated at the Petco I work at
What I'm saying is those rats that you have, where were they before the rescue shelters? They might have come from Pet Stores....if the Pet stores didn't have them in the first place...you wouldn't have them.
Well being that those animals might have come from Pet stores at one point in their lives.....I'd wonder why you have them since you are so much in a hurry to have the stores stop selling them.
We do for all animals I work in a store. We make sure they are going to get the proper care as well such as that a mouse will not go to someone who is going to feed it to a snake. It's an excellent adoption program ^^... Half retail price I think.
Is it free

They should do it with snakes so I won't need to really pay much for a new one

K your comment doesn't make to much sense to me but I don't full support the petstores, selling animal wise.
Have you seen the conditions and what they sell? A lotta hamsters end up being sold pregnant, wrong sex, sick..all those things
