i live in Kentucky now and i haven't faced any discrimination for my sexuality or race. unless you count looking at the corner of Cheapside in my downtown area where slaves where bought but i think times have changed and in my school we have a very large population of gays, bisexuals, transgenders and lesbians i do think times are changing maybe slower than it should but they are changing

Yes, I was born and raised in Kentucky and understand the general Kentucky mentality . So what can I say? Love it or leave it! ...... I left it... and now live in the Great Northwest near Seattle. Thankfully Washington state has passed a number of laws protecting the LGBT community and being a transgender woman life here is at least tolerable. I wish the Kentucky Equality Federation the best of luck in dealing with this backward state..

YES to gay marriage.
Here in germany we have the gay marriage since Summer 2001 but that doesn't count as a "real" marriage like man and woman do. I hate this offending difference!

The Greek word for abomination is To'vah which doesn't mean abomination. It is reference to being ritualistically and includes such things as not eating shellfish and selling your daughter. In the context of Leviticus it refers to anal rape, adultrery and orgies. Being a man and raped by another man due to the patriarchal culture it it made him fall into the catagory of a woman. Original language and culture are important. Homosexuality wasn't even a word until 1892.

What does the Bible say on
homosexuality?
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with
womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 18:22

Well put together, I live here in Kentucky as well, and the hate I've gotten from students, my family, and even teachers, is horrible. If I was to ever stand up for rights we SHOULD have, I'm told to shut up, be quiet, or get sent out or away. Kentucky needs a change, and so does this whole nation.
Give it time and read the news:
Do you have any idea how many gay people have been killed or committed suicide in Lexington? By our reports and media reports 9 in the past 4 years.
