A cooling issue? It's never gotten past 55C....and that's overclocked.
Still doesn't make any sense
-
why would he lie about being able to run crysis on an 8800gt, it's nothing to be truly proud of. And there could be a number of reasons why yours is running slower. seeing that you have a 7750 its most likely cooling.
my 8800gt oc 4gb ram and 6000+ runs this around the same at 1200p
-
it's not very good game .
-
know your settings and graphic card

I don't see how it's possible that you can be running it that well with that hardware. I have a better rig than you and even I can't. I'll even tell you what I've got:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750+ @ 3.1GHz
EVGA GeForce GTS 250 1GB Superclocked
Gigabyte MA770-UD3
4GB DDR2 1066MHz
Windows 7 x64
so yeah, BS

well ill be honest to you. in games i dont know, but in vista score and 3d marks the amd x2 and x3 got same score, in some x2 wins. games are made for either x2 or quad-cores. so if i was you i would wait a little longer and get a phenm x4 or get the x3 if u can get it for dirt cheap.
