An updated version of our Android Augmented Reality platform (Android AR).
New features:
- full redesign of the software architecture (more modular),
- code optimization for rendering and database access,
- access to new remote server technology (proprietary, IP City Server),
- different visualization modes (AR, VR, 2D Map),
- overview mode in AR (helpful for location awareness and visualization debugging).
Integration of marker-based tracking is coming soon.
In contrast to similar projects, our focus has been primarily on 3D-based mobile AR platform, and to propose a customizable platform dedicated to industries, museums, government institutions or artists rather than general end-users (it's not an 'AR browser' per se).
The platform can be used for urban planning, architecture, tourism, artistic installation, etc.
