Update: Eagle "National defense" training center 10/21/09

This is my latest update about the Eagle training center situation here in Highlands county, Florida. The training center was voted against on October 20th, 4-0. So for now we're safe again. However an appeal may be filed, but also the land may be sold to a completely different buyer. So for right now it's dead in the water but it could rear it's ugly head again in the future.
