He sounds like a character in a Rareware game.

When I realized he did this it ruined him for me. It's like listening to the strings squeak on a guitar or the shoes on a basketball court. Once you notice it, there's no going back.

i heard a mention of this on the adam and joe show - how dara puts an "errr" on the end of every joke, next time i saw dara o brian (apprentice you're fired) i was crying with laughter because of how much i noticed it

I do find it fustrating to watch but I suppose it adds to his characters and he's incredibly likeable person.
