A music video I created for the songs "The Invitation" and "Welcome to the Masquerade" by: Thousand Foot Krutch, from their album "Welcome to the Masquerade" (A "Phantom of the Opera" variation)
My Other Variations:
Van Helsing: http://youtu.be/TrGSOTlhnDI
V For Vendetta: http://youtu.be/n0i8DCnYY6Y
Lyrics:
We've got the fire, who's got the matches
Take a look around at the sea of masks
and come one come all, welcome to the grand ball
Where the strong run for cover and the weak stand tall
I'm not one to scatter ashes
But there's some things that melt the plastic
Try and dig down deeper if you can
I'm not afraid
I'm not ashamed
I'm not to blame
Welcome to the masquerade
I'm not ashamed
I'm not afraid
I'm not okay
Welcome to the masquerade
Welcome to the masquerade
We've got the power, who's got the action
Break it down till there's nothing but a mere fraction
Out of the fire, rise from the ashes
Reject your doubt and release the passion
Let's get on it, believe if you want it
step into the realm where the real ones flaunt it
Come back, rewind, another time on it
Reach out, take that, but now step on it
I'm not one to scare the masses
But there's some things that melt the plastic
Try and dig down deeper if you can
I'm not afraid
I'm not ashamed
I'm not to blame
Welcome to the masquerade
I'm not ashamed
I'm not afraid
I'm not okay
Welcome to the masquerade
Welcome to the masquerade
I'm not afraid
I'm not ashamed
I'm not to blame
Welcome to the masquerade
I'm not ashamed
I'm not afraid
I'm not okay
Welcome to the masquerade
Welcome to the masquerade
Welcome to the masquerade
I'm not one to scatter ashes
But there's some things that melt the plastic
Try and dig down deeper if you can
I'm not afraid
I'm not ashamed
I'm not to blame
Welcome to the masquerade
I'm not ashamed
I'm not afraid
I'm not okay
Welcome to the masquerade
Welcome to the masquerade

Does the band have an actual music video for this song? I really liked your video you made, don't get me wrong, but I just wondered because if they did I would like to watch it. :) Great job though! :D

@fireflight5 As far as I am aware there is not... If there is I would like to watch it too! I do know that they have live concert videos but that's not the same as music videos.

It seems like the song would fit better with the Masquerade scene in Van Helsing....though good job on this though....

@TwyRyse I had never seen Van Helsing, and POTO was the only Masquerade scene I felt did this justice. However I just saw the Van Helsing Masquerade clip and it indeed looks beautiful in its own manner. If I can do a good job of it I will do a Van Helsing remake for this TFK song.

@TwyRyse I have now completed my Van Helsing variation, I think it's ok. My biggest problem was finding a good video quality source so there are some awkward cuts because of poor video quality. And being a perfectionist I don't like that. However it's still good and you can find a link in this video's description or on my channel page. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

at 0:59 you hear the music break! LOLZ!

@theclan98 Yep that's the way TFK had the tracks (as actually on the cd they are two separate tracks, so I try to keep it original and leave it as TFK recorded it with the slight break) I felt the song was better enhanced by the first intro track.
