I'm a Ashihara karate performer. I Always strive to find similarities between various systems, rather then diss-similarities. I can see a whole lots of things used here, that i personally use myself, with a personal touch to it, in my ashihara way.

Really do like the flow of things here.

your opinions is ridiculous and insulting to martial arts because a martial artists respects all arts. you think it's crap, then how about you enter a shidokan tournament. once you fight in one, then post your comment and let's see what you have to say.

...seen worst! This is evidently an art in development. shidokan is a break-off of kyokushin trying to push the limits of their full contact to a more complete style. Of coarse it should'nt pretend to be the strongest yet. It looks like bad kyokushin, bad enshin karate, bad sabaki and bad Kudo! want to see what it should look like, check KUDO from daido juku.Muay thai is a very lethal but a thai fighter on the ground is dead... OSU!

Muay Thai is shit compared to karate.

for you to say those elbow are terrible is up to one's opinion. some of the individuals in these clips are mma fighters, thai boxers and bare knuckle karate fighters. this is training. look at some of the full contact kumite posts and look at some of the shidokan mma, thai boxing, and full contact karate fights. on becoming an "effective martial artist and fighter", it up to one's opinion as to what they want. you are entitled to your opinion, but no need to insult those in the video.

And one more thing....those elbow strikes that are being practised or taught are terrible......loose and uneffective....looks like a bad swimming lesson,lol. You want to learn effective elbow strikes, look at Muay Thai.
