Sorry for the shakiness. The bugs were very bad.
The girl riding him has just started taking jumping lessons.

How are you doing now? You should send us a recent video!

Keep in mind, you don't need to speed up going to your fences, particularly little jumps. Just get a nice, rhythmic canter and keep it to the bottom of the jump

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments and constructive criticism! I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, we had to put this nice boy down earlier this spring. :( I miss riding him but I will keep these comments in mind for my next hunter horse!

    Thanks again! :)

I agree with the last comment. If her stirrups were shorter she could get her leg under her more and her weight down in her heal. Her horse needs ground lines and a trot pole before the jump to settle him and improve his jump style. Looks like a nice horse for a beginning hunter rider.

He is lovely, he is a litle behind the bit, but nothing that a little more impulsion ( forward not fast). he has lovely transitions and he is barely even using any effort over the fences. The girl asked about her position, it is actually nice, she needs to shorten her stirrups at least 2 holes, but she has a beautiful leg and seat, quiet hands. she needs to keep her eyes up, not duck to the left over the fence but for a new hunter rider you would know it from the video..
