"Blackface" was an accepted form of entertainment in that era, just like today's liberal Hollywood with their gay and hip hop agenda's

Sadly the use of "blackface" (which is what is used in the video) was normal back during the 1920s through the late 1940s. It was part of the act. So Jolson is not the one to blame. Jolson supported racial equality, helped African American musicians become popular during the time, (Look up Cab Calloway, he is one of them.)and was even Jewish. It's truly Warner Brothers, and other companies to blame. So Jolson far from being close to racist.
