Kopi Kopenhagen, after releasing his ASHITA MANANA CD in April of 2008, is looking to drop his 2nd solo CD. This video is just some old and new photos, and some roughly-recorded songs that could show up on the album. Kopi Kopenhagen (Matthew Thomas Koechlin) is from Dunedin, Florida (USA) and currently living in Tokyo Japan (in Kinshicho, near Akihabara). He is the "godfather of world music punk rock," and is proud to be pushing rock/punk along in its evolution to include not Santana-like Cha Cha rhythms, but full blown Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa ... and even Merengue. You may know Kopi from his past endeavors, such as creating Ten 13 Concept alongside Joe Loffredo, now T13C (www.t13c.com) and playing guitar/singing in Revere with Conrad Petzinger and Matt Bennett (www.myspace.com/reverefla).
