I've heard the "older generation" of country music. I grew up listening to it as a matter of fact, I believe that Patsy Cline would have been glad to take Carrie Underwood under her wing as a protege as she did for that coal miner's daughter, Loretta Lynn. If anyone was ever intended by her maker to sing country music, it is this young lady. She sings as sweetly as Dolly Partin ever did even back during her days with Porter Wagner. Her heart is right out there for all to see.

Country music is changing everyday to appeal to more people. Because of people like Carrie, its a popular genre. If country never changed and was still slow and boring, no one would listen. People get bored of the same old thing all the time. If Carries songs happen to cross over, so what, she's still country. Even Loretta did a song with Jack White so does that mean she shouldn't be in the Opry? I respect your opinion, but the world is changing and classic country is just that... classic.
