Wow! You learn something new everyday! I always thought the garlic bulbs developed above ground!!! We're going to be doing garlic for the first time this year. Can't wait! Hubby & I enjoyed your videos!

@BuddyClubGardening Thanks for that. I did a bit of research and 2" seems to be the depth of hole but I'd rather someone like you confirm that from experience. So, out to the workshop to measure where 2" stops on my finger.

Our cloves went into holes approximately 2" deep. I have to admit I didn't really measure, I just guessed it on my finger, jammed my finger into the dirt to the guessed depth, called it a good job.

That's a great haul. How deep do you plant the bulbs? I read about 2" but is that 2" to the bottom of the clove or 2" above the tip (a 2" hole or 3" hole)?
Tell Rachel her knee is going to be fine because I have told everyone in Ireland, again, and we are all praying furiously (we cured her arm). We are also praying furiously for her nose in case that heart doesn't come off.
