Estes sky squadron

got this on sale at radio shack the other day and this is the first flight after fixing the trim. it has had several crashes only because i insist on flying it on windy days. sure is a lot more durable than my rc helicopter

when i was flying mine up high thr battery went out on me then it went into the woods and i couldnt find it

mine has been stuck on top of a really tall tree for the last 5 or 6 months. oh well, im into highter quality rc planes now thanks to this little flyer

how come mine flies like crap i just bought it?

expalin how crappy it flies and maybe i can help you out with it. i had to fix the play in my wing to fuselage area then trim it out so it would fly straight by stacking strips of masking tape on the left or right side of the fuselage, then fine tune the trim with the tail rudder (creasing it lightly and bending it into the direction i wanted it to fly)

I want to get one of these but I dont really know if its worth it. Has it broke on you yet??

not yet. and its so cheap that im using it to teach my 2 1/2 year old son to learn left and right flying. i would never do that on a real rc plane

it actually only cost me $14.95 but i would have paid $20 because it's what got me into rc planes now.... nyknyknyknyknyk

i have one and i fly it almost like you :D it was hard to get the "secret" but know it's easy ;)

just hit a dozen 2 min. flights and still going strong. the only difference now is that i have not been crashing (makes a huge difference in the lifespan of this toy).  i will post how many flights i get till it quits on me

so far, i have hit the ground, a post, and 2 trees and it still fly's. it bent the motor shaft but i bent it back and it still flys. i will post when it finally gives out on me but the more i fly the better i seem to get and crash less
