Two months before they had a match at the ChickFight 5 tournament in San Francisco, which was way more competitive.. WrestleExpo was admittedly a rather half-hearted affair..

see this is what i hate. ppl who love indys i understand ur style n stuff. but remember wwe women like lita,victoria/tara,trish,molly­,jacqueline,ivory,chyna,beth,n­attie,tamina,gail, etc. are not bimbos . n they are true competitors like my 2nd fav ever mschif.

@ManamiToyotafan I know right, Its not that either MSCHIF IS JUST DANGEROUS! look at her shes beaten kong, held the title perhaps longer than anyone, and shes very recilient. So yeah shes bad but a fan favorite aswell.

true, this was before mschif becoming truly dominant in 2008-present. she holds the shimmer title, and two nwa titles. she's pinned awesome kong and has held the shimmer title for about two years, so a rematch would tear the house down

As for this particular match, Tamura was in the middle of one of her best reigns as the NEO/NWA women's champion, and having her lose at this point of her reign would have not made sense, especially considering all the great female wrestlers she had beaten through her reign. Not hating on MsChif, she's also a great wrestler, but Tamura was just too strong at this point to warrent giving MsChif the win.
