Here is a tape which BBC2 introduced in November 1974 when it replaced Nightride and apparently had two tracks at the opening deleted, but they have now been completely resurfaced. I can now reveal the titles for you: 1. Kansas City Train; 2. Southern Winds; 3. Alamo; 4. Pepper And Salt. This was replaced in December 1975 by Riverside Downs. Enjoy!!!!

    Re: Testcard #1 by tubedougz

  • @riceboy1701e Like that organ. Almost sounds like it is saying: "Bop, bah-de-yap, bah-de-yadayada-bop." :-)

  • Why does #3, "Alamo" sound so familiar? If I remember, it is on another tape...

  • The title of the first track is actually called Kansas City Train, by Cornelius Op Den Zieken and his orchestra, Alamo is the 3rd track, when the tape times were changed in late 1974 the first 2 tracks were removed.

  • Brilliant!!
