He never said he was a dancer; he is a musician, a singer, the same thing Madonna claims to be by putting out records. He's one of the greatest pianists of our time, a brilliant singer-songwriter and world class composer. Madonna's dancing hardly merit's lip-syncing like Michael Jackson's did. Mediocre Madge uses her second X chromosome, Lady GaGa bashing and past popularity to still claim relevance.

I'm a bit torn on this, cuz one - I know how extremely hard it is to sing GOOD and dance at the same time.. That really requires great stamina and physical preparation, so i understand why singers that put on a very active show have to lip-sync. HOWEVER, I do agree with Elton that ppl pay huge money for these concerts.. If I wanna hear a recording I can just listen to in online or buy the album, I don't wanna be paying 70 quid if I'm not getting a class LIVE performance...

Well, we see that after Madonna has continued to soar while Elton continues to shrink into the margins, he finally went to her, tail between his legs, and apologized for all the nasty crap he's said. Hopefully he realizes that his comments never made Madonna look bad, they just made Elton look sad.

This is it, stars "bash" each other, that being said I have been to 2 Madge's concerts and didn't see a BLATANT mime, she does sing over pre-recorded lyrics but due to the demanding dance routine I am happy to forgive that, Elton sits at a piano (does a very good job too, Love his music) He should of just let it go, people win awards all the time regardless of whether "we" all agree or not

It only went to GaGa because Madge was bashing her and Elton defended her with his recent comments at her. I think Elton just appreciates that he worked very hard to become a brilliant pianist and live-singer and doesn't like Q-awards giving live-act to someone who doesn't sing live. That being said, Madonna is still a great popstar.
