This is my review video of the Dell Vostro V13, a shockingly thin (0.65 inches) and light (3.5 pounds) laptop from Dell. This particular model I'm looking at features an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 CPU at 1.3 Ghz, Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit), 2 GB of RAM, a 320 GB 7200 RPM hard drive, 802.11n WiFi, a 1.3 megapixel Web cam, a 13.3 inch LED-backlit display (1366 x 768), gigabit Ethernet, a VGA-out port, a USB port and a combo USB/eSATA port. It also has a 34mm ExpressCard slot, a microphone jack, a headphone jack, and a 5 in 1 memory card reader. It has no optical drive. The V13 uses the Intel GS45 chipset, and the Intel GMA4500 GPU.

  • HI Jason, I know it's almost 2 years from this video, so I hope you get this. I'm almost to buy this laptop, but I'm really worried about doing a bad investment because it's a second hand one even though the owner told that he hasn't used it to much. In short, I'd really appreciate if you could tell me If you have experienced some problems with this laptop, I mean overheating, battery life, maybe performance with music, videos and softwares like Autocad, CorelDraw, etc. P.S Thx in advance

  • @LuisinhoE10 My V13 is still going strong, and I've upgraded both the RAM and the HD (put in an SSD). No issues at all. I wouldn't run Autocad on it though - it has a slow CPU.

  • @fordyrox

I've got a Dell XPS17 totally customized to be around 2200 bucks and it's perfectly fine. NEVER had sound issues, NEVER freezes up, NEVER had a problem. Just cuz you got a shitty laptop and probably dropped it doesn't mean they all suck.

  • @fordyrox Elsewhere not elsware...

  • @fordyrox no net all my Dell laptop has never done that to me before

  • @DronaStorm Actually all dell laptops are known to have these issues, if you did your reaserch you would know that. In some models the problem is more common than others.
