Edison (Toastmaster) Thin N' Light Box Fan bought off craigslist for $5,Complete with support feet, instruction manual and box, missing speed selector.
I'm going strictly by memory in the dates I've given even though I was only 6 & 8 years old when we bought them. I've still been able to keep track of all the fans we've owned since I was about 5 years old. BTW, check out the Bradford fan uploaded on my page. I probably could make a better video, but at least I have it up on Youtube now. LOL
We had an Edison Thin'n' light fan from 1983 that had a woodgrain metal cabinet, white plastic front grill that said "Edison", and a brown metal rear grill, and smoked transparent plastic blades just like these. Than we had another from 1985 that was fatter but had a brown front plastic gril with "Toastmaster", and a metal grill & casting, which along with it's plastic blades, were tan. The handle was brown with "Edison" across it. #1 was from Kroger & #2 was from Venture. The 1983 box survives
That´s one of those things I would have left in the box and forgot about for another 25 years. Sometime in our generation, these fans will become even harder to find. I´ve never seen one of those in its original box!
i have this same fan only the 2 speed model.

It's mid-80's I think. I remember when those were being sold during the mid-80's.
I've seen the "oscillating grill" boxfans that Edison made on eBay a couple of times.
