@scentless2apprentice I think it could basically be that in those remote areas there are no medical equipment available for them like sonograms(ultrasound equipment) to do a proper examination.

@scentless2apprentice Ok... this is just a guess but I think it's right. Most of the population on Earth are in places like China and India. A few cases of certain diseases or conjoined twins are usually very rare, and extremely hard to come by. But because these countries have more people, the chances of there being some rare disease or conjoinment are better (more?) than anywhere else in the world.
