has anyone here noticed that judges seem to take dances that have boys in them and given them more points even if the boys r not that good???

I wore this stuff when I was in competitive dance. It taught me that revealing clothing belonged onstage, not in outside life. None of the girls I danced with turned into sluts or used suggestive dance moves outside the studio. They're training kids to dance in musical theatre shows or as backup dancers. It's work and they know it.

anyone that's been able to see the kids costumes up close know that what you think is skin is more likely then not flesh colored clothing. whenever my school has shows, they have the kids from the local dance studio perform with us. (our dance teachers teach there too.) flesh colored stockings, leotards, cami tops. the girls are covered. and those saying the dance was bad, the oldest girl there couldn't have been more then 8 or 9. they are just kids.

People! All these kids are competition dancers! If you go to a dance competition you are most likely gonna see more costume like this maybe even a little bit shorter! Get over it! Its not you on stage in the Kids! They dont care about the costumes They care about having fun and thats what they aredoing!!!!!

I was in this dance. Southern Strutt is a hot mess itself. They held favorites and didn't pay one bit of attention to any of the children who weren't one of the favorites. At nationals when we got done with this dance our teacher was like, "Guys, I hate to tell you this, but that really sucked. You could all do better."
