Brooks Williams (with Phil Traynor) - Lightning

Ever get to jam with your heroes? That's what happens at The Swannanoa Gathering (http://www.swangathering.com); a folk arts camp that happens every summer at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, NC (just east of Ashville). Brooks Williams is one of my heroes, and when his new CD "The Time I Spend With You" came out last year, I got it immediately, and had it commited to memory in very short order. Well, Brooks did me the extraordinary kindness of sitting down with me to play four songs from his new CD, while being recorded! Here is one of the tracks - "Lightning (Going Back to Texas)".
