From the 1988 release featuring ex Bang Bang members turned producers Julian Raymond & CJ DeVillar. A band that pushed the envelope lyrically and musically when other bands were playing it safe. "Hey Daddy, Have You Ever Been Arrested" is a true gem.
I was looking for the Fate video....can't find it.....but this is cool, too. This is hands down one of the best albums ever and this band never got the credit they deserved.
My buddy Tommy found an old promotional tape that he got from Goodness knows where.
He grew up with Raymond in Portland Ore. Anyway it was so funny hearing the stories about the old days and then listening to this album, It kept us entertained all night laughing our butts off. Especially the over the top emotional vocals in Fate. It took me about 5 minutes to get his voice down. I just imitated a bunch of other artist from the 80's and threw them all together.
The lead singer Julian Raymond signed Insane Clown Posse to Hollywood Records in 1996 after buying their contract off of Jive Records, six hours after The Great Milenko was released , it was recalled off of shelves once Disney execs had heard what the record was about(so they say, ICP has said they handed the album in three months earlier) Funny that Julian Raymond's band Dear Mister President had their first album recalled as well. ( Great Milenko was ICP'S fourth album,2nd major release)
