  • Haven't things changed in 16 years, 2 months and 3 days?

  • I remember that Vectra advert pretty well, since it ran for ages. Whatever happened to Cellnet? That Phillips advert is very deja vu for the obvious reason. Pretty classy concluding voice over by John Hurt.

That Pringles ad should've never seen the light of day. I can't stand Guiness adverts, since they are just so annoying and this one is no exception. Dancing like that over a pint of Guiness will no doubt end with a punch in the face however I love the melody used.

  • That Philips Ad with jet planes flying at World Trade Center seem eerie considering what has happened!!!

  • I remember the Vauxhall Vectra advert quite well and yes the song was called 'Play Dead by Bjork although slightly different from the 1993 song. Pringles is one of my favourite form of snacks. Originated from America, it was introduced in around 1992 when the first ad came out and the Guinness one, I remember that one as well.

  • do you know where i can get the instrumental version of play dead by bjork & david arnold? i have been after it ever since these ads for the vauxhall vectra came so far i have only managed to get the one with bjork singing on it but i really want the instrumental version! i loved the vauxhall ads from this time period! they were fantastic!

  • God, the Pringles ad is horribly dated (and probably was even by 1995?).

Unbelievably, "Guaglione" was kept from number one by R&J's "Unchained Melody", thus providing a direct link to May 1955 in May 1995.
