Isaac Lidsky, Hope For Vision's chairman and a Miami native, throws out the first pitch at the Marlins/Cubs game on September 25th. He's accompanied at the mound by Carlos Lidsky, Adrienne Arsht, and Chicago Cubs' Derrek Lee.
I agree that the crowd is lacking but most Marlins fans despise land shark stadium so much that they would rather watch the games from home, the new stadium will attract more fans, plus the Marlins have the most tv viewers in the major leagues.
I love how people are focusing on the terrible crowd at the game while we watch an amazing individual throw out the first pitch.
