This version of the song is very close to Big Walter Horton version .You will need a C harp .

Go here: http://www.box.net/shared/4da30gkqtb to download the folder that contains, the backing track , another backing track with my vocals on it ( again in case you don't care or don't wanna sing) and the harp tab . Now, the simple text file harp tab was replaced with something that I came up and I hope it will make songs easier to learn , an interactive harp tab that shows the tab on the screen and plays the part at a slower speed , without the backing track. The tab is separated in 6 parts that fit over a 12 bar chorus , once you learn one part you can go to the next one , well it's pretty straight forward , if you have any problems with it let me know. The only small issue with this tab is that because some limitations in the software ,the sound got a little bit distorted . The tab is an executable file , so all you have to do to start it is to double click on it.

In the tab , I left out the chords , learn the song ,then listen to what I play and see where the chords go , or better yet listen to the original song and hear where Big Walter throws them. if don't have the original song you can hear it here : http://www.last.fm/music/Big+Walter+Horton/_/Have+A+Good+Time

If you like it or have any questions , please leave a comment and if you wanna be informed when the next tab comes out , subscribe .
Good luck!

ps: for all the non PC users I made the tab in flash format so you can use it too, go here to download the tab ( if you have a Windows based PC you don't need this , it's just for MAC or Linux users) : http://www.box.net/shared/s3uinz7nmm ,to start the tab you will have to click on the html file , and the tab will open in your internet browser .

At the bottom of the video, on the right hand side there's some down arrows, click on it, it will expand and you will find the link there. Good luck.

  • I really appreciate the helpful tabs and backing track. Its exactly what I needed. Can I ask if you use the tongue or pucker method while playing.

  • I use the pucker

  • Thank you so much for your tracks!!

  • I love you work. re lyrics for this song, its very difficult to hear walter's words for this song. i am pretty sure the 1st verse is:

"(well you can) Preach like Peter, pray like Paul, (but) when Judgement Day comes thats all, thats all"

i know the web has that "dumb as they come" line...its just not right; makes no sense. the 2nd verse is still a mystery to me though...i am pretty sure he doesn't sing "my hair just rolls" though. there are other verses too, also incomprehensible

  • good blues to playing.Nice play

  • thank you so much! really appreciate your work!

helps me a lot, training every day with you being my teacher ;)

    keep it up!

  • Great job and excellent vocals. You're one of the most polished harmonica players on YouTube. Thanks for the tab.

  • Hi Bro, can you share the lyrics :D
