I just thought this was really funny, considering the last verse of the song. Poor Sesshie always has an 8-year-old girl following him around, he can't enjoy any of the PG-13 stuff.
So he wanted her to buzz off for a while.

@spiritmyluv It's not a problem, but to be honest, Rin's age is never stated in the canon and most of us Sess/Rin people generally say she's around 8 years old. Sesshoumaru is a 7ft tall demon, so she looks very small compared to him, but when you put her next to 12 year old Kohaku, she doesn't look quite as young. That and there is no way a 5 year old could be as independent and mentally developed as Rin is. Hearts and Hugs, RavynSkye

But do the specifics really matter? Sesshoumaru is 19 in human years according to his character profile... but no one is saying anything about the 'I am 22 years old' bit... It's just the essence of the song suiting well... except that Sess does let Rin follow him and she has no home to go to, nor a mom or dad... (again, the specifics don't matter, its just for fun!)
