Through NASA enhanced photos of the crime scene and a test recreating the premise of the prosecution; two investigative journalists, Linn Washington and Dave Lindorff, blow huge holes in the prosecution's case and demonstrate the falsified testimony of two key eyewitnesses.
Linn Washington and Dave Lindorff are two of the leading experts in the case of Mumia Abu-Jamal, arguably the most contested and debated death-row case in the world.
Linn Washington arrived at the crime scene three hours after the shooting and has been following the story ever since. He has read all of the transcripts from the trial and appeals as well as every court decision in the case. He is a columnist for the Philadelphia Tribune.
Dave Lindorff is the author of "Killing Time: An Investigation into the Death Row Case of Mumia Abu-Jamal" which was published in 2004. He has read all of the transcripts from the trial and appeals as well as every court decision in the case. He also interviewed many of the key figures in the case including prosecutor Joseph McGill.

It's amazing that it took almost 30 years before someone actually did such a test. And it's showing the prosecution's lack of interest in finding out what really happened on Dec 9, 1981.
It's just politics. Neither the FOP nor the DA cares about Daniel Faulkner. All they seem to be interested in is to lynch an African-American in revenge. We know where this reflex comes from.
I hope that Mumia will get justice at some point although I have no illusions about the "criminal" justice system.
