For one, as a contractor in sasebo japan naval base, the marines and army are , of course, different branches of the MILITARY. correct? YES they are slightly connected but that is for other purposes only. There are many marines STATIONED on these naval ships as PART if their job. Every BRANCH is connected in a way for their own purpose. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY. its how communication is supposed to work. YES they AFFILIATE with each other.

@Allizare It's a parody video for the Army vs. Navy football game, all in good fun, intra-service rivalry. The Marines are a part of the Department of the Navy, in fact Marine Officers attend the Naval Academy as well. They have not broke off from the Navy.
