The Lincoln Lawyer Trailer Release - Review + Movie Plot

The Lincoln Lawyer is based on a novel by the same name, by Michael Connelly. The movie will star Matthew McConaughey, Marisa Tomei, John Leguizamo, William Macy, Ryan Phillippe, and more. This film is a legal thriller with great cinematography. The main character played by McConaughey is Mickey Haller. He is a criminal defense attorney whose client list includes bikers, drug dealers, and hoodlums. Hence the name, he usually does his legal business out of the back of a lincoln towncar. One day, he takes on the case of Louis Roulet, who is unlike his typical client. Roulete is a wealthy Los Angeles realtor, whose been accused of attempted murder. This movie will take many twists and turns, as it starts to look like Mickey will watch his client lose the case. The plot thickens as the gray areas of a lawyer's life are revealed in this movie, especially ones who represent clients like Mickey has. This is the first trailer release. The filmwork looks amazing. Matthew McConaughey's character Mickey Haller rides around Los Angeles in a car with a license plate that says NtGuilty. Visiting clients in prison is just another day for Mickey. However, he's stumped when he has a more upscale client, who actually seems innocent for the crime he is being accused of. Its a serious crime too: Attempted Murder. Louis Roulet claims he has been setup but his story has a lot of holes in it. This is Mickey's worst fear, because his father once told him that if he let an innocent man go to prison, it would scar him for life. Hope you enjoyed this trailer review. This flick will be released 03/18/2011, and it looks like a must go see! Let's be hopeful that the film really delivers.
