Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro video review (Fido)

Real busy summer, so didn't get a chance to review much.

This phone is amazing for what it does and also from a value stand point. 350 dollars off contract for the exact same hardware as a $550 Arc (save for larger screen) with the bonus of a full qwerty keyboard.

The Sony Ericsson skin is actually really nice too. Adds a breath of freshness and also a lot of new neat features and functions.

Definitely recommended phone! Just don't expect more battery life than the rest of the crop.

@aminsh72 .. It is much better or slightly better than Xperia Pro?? i mean.. it is nearly 2x the price.

I know that it have a 2x better processor, but is 1ghz processor fast enough for office work.. such as when using microsoft word or browsing? And lastly, which one is heavier and more comfortable when typing using the qwerty keyboard?

@louis4151 It is much better, with a better processor, superior screen quality and better multitasking. But in my opinion it isn't worth nearly double the price. For the needs that you mentioned, the Xperia more than suffices. As well, The Pro is lighter and also has a more comfortable keyboard.

Overall, the Xperia Pro is good, isnt it? The feel, durability, battery life, camera and everything..

I think ill will either buy it on-line or from sony ericsson retailer..

Yes, it's good. Keep that in mind. It isn't by any stretch outstanding or the best. It is simply good and above average in nearly every category.

if this is like the se xperia so called flagship phone two years ago, it will never be updated because se own software is too hard to keep up to speed with new android platforms. be aware of the update scams. i loved my old se experia but fell out of love with se. dam you se i want this new phone but not prepared to take the risk!!!! and yes they kept promising the up dates in the next quater( it didn't happen).
