One of the greatest drivers of all time.... He was so exciting to watch... so agressive and smart.... sadly we lost him... I remember watching him race at a small local track near Vancouver BC (Westwood raceway) in the late 70's when he drove Formula Atlantic....

Last time i saw tis one on TV was in 1981-82, real kool to see it back , "Ti-Gilles" is just great in this ad & ..in his 308 GTS, great memories of a great one.

@slimv29 My cousin-in-law is from Windsor, he spent some time in Quebec, and had a few buddies from rural Quebec. Some were taught French first, and then English. I guess it kinda depends on where you went to elementary in Quebec. It's funny; if my cousin gets pissed, like REALLY P.O'ed, he cuss in French. It's hilarious.

@slimv29 As hifichet said, he was multilingual. He spoke very good english, as in Quebec, they teach both French and English in grammar school. Though they have a decidedly..."Fargo" accent, kind of like myself.;)
