    PS...folks do your research before you follow and believe her.....we are apes...most apes do NOT eat meat....and if you want to eat it then go kill it ur self...skip the middle man...if you can't do the kill and skin your food, why would you want to eat it?...

  • @lauraanne1973 Denise did her research. She's the one who found that T. Collin Campbell basically twisted everything in the China Study. There is a link to Denise's site under "show more." I suggest you read it. All her research is transparent; anyone can check it. Campbell still will not reveal his methodology even though he says it's all written up.

    By the way, many of us like hunting and fishing. I don't understand how that's an argument against eating animals. LOL!

  • i love meat and would find it very hard to give up completely ..........my frustration as a everyday member of the public is that both sides of the arugement can get studies to support there case :(

    Also it seems obvious to me that these battles are more about who can win the arugument rather than finding the truth..........our children are getting sicker and sicker every year, the stakes are too high :(

  • @doona42 Try both and decide for yourself. Denise, I, and many others have been the vegan route thinking it to be healthiest. We all became ill. That's what has led most of us to take a harder look at what we've been told all of our lives.

  • @wickedtothemisty Traditional peoples ate lots of animal products yet were free of cancer and heart disease. I bet you ate a lot of grains and processed food. I would join the Track Your Plaque program of Dr. William Davis'. He successfully reverses heart disease in his patients. The first thing he'd have you eliminate is wheat.

  • @Jordonified She's very educated and will be 25 this year. I'm sure she'd thank you for the compliment. At any rate, it's yet another logical fallacy that she must be wrong because she's young. By the way, she and some others are in the process of getting some of her research reviewed and published.

  • part 2- people are around me because they don't affect me. That's what works for me and I don't give a shit about anybody else. Why should I? 

  • By no means do I plan on being a strict Vegan but my girlfriend's daughter calls herself a vegetarian and never even eats vegetables! lol. I love vegetables and try and eat them every single day. I just think that if you go one way or the other too extremely you're going to be headed for trouble. I say drink a healthy amount of water each day, eat fruits and vegetables each day, eat some meat but don't overeat anything. I haven't been sick in many years and I never worry about when other sick

  • What makes us sick is all the processed, junk food and refined sugars. Eating a balanced diet which includes fruit, veg, nuts, seeds and a little bit of meat is healthy.
