This is how to take apart a key from an 04 audi. Crappy quality. I will make a new one for sure. If your remote is in bad condition but still works this is for u. If not you will have to go looking for another somewhere else.

the chip just slides out once you have the key case open. when your opening your case make sure to work in an area where if anything falls out you will be able to find it. its not a big deal to break the plastic if your getting a new shell for it.

I got my new shell and it has worked very well for quite some time.

the board is secured by two push pins... pry up on the board very carefully and the pins will pop out... save the pins if they come out of the board and use them to replace the board in the new cover piece... push down on the two pins with a small tool like your flat head screwdriver. The rest is easy.
