pluto was discovered in 1930.

pluto's revolution period around the sun (length of its year) is 248 years.

Pluto hadn't even completed one revolution around the sun between its discovery and its declassification of being a planet.

@pSyChoSahi ...And was dubbed a "Dwarf planet". Still a planet(in the name), but not "mature". The only reason it was reclassified, is it's orbit around the sun isn't cleared(of matter). Actually it's only .07% of the total dust/debris in it's orbit.

It had little or nothing to do with size.

For anyone who doesn't know: This song was written on 1998 where Pluto was still considered a planet and there were no doubts about it. On 2006 the International Astronomical Union decided that Pluto isn't a planet.
