Ray & Donna meet for the first time - Part 2

Season 1, Episode 27 - The Outsiders. Ray is the lonely, genial ranch foreman. One night at the Longhorn Bar, he meets the beautiful and mysterious Donna. They embark upon what seems to be a no-strings relationship, even though they both want something more. Unbeknownst to Ray, Donna is married to Sam Culver, one of the most powerful politicians in the state and an old friend of the Ewings. When Bobby finds out that college pal Donna is the new lady in Ray's life, he tries to stop the relationship before everyone gets hurt. J.R. discovers the relationship and attempts to use it to his advantage. Ultimately, Donna tells Sam the truth, rebuffs J.R., and tells Ray how he truly feels and asks him if he'll wait for her to overcome her confliced feelings. This episode marked Susan's first appearance on the series, before she finally became a regular cast member two years later.
