@ericssson Well, in the 1970's some countries already started to protect their flights by armed personell (Isreal, GDR and some routes of Swissair), but the skymarshal program (in Austria named "Flugsicherheitsbegleiter") as it is today was indeed first done by "EKO Cobra" in 1981
