I hate when the interviewer asks "why should we hire you?" I just want to crumble my resume and throw it at his face and say "Because I need money you idiot".

job interviews should be banned worldwide

Don't ask your interviewer what their company do, because very often, they just don't know. They're here to take the money you make for them.

I think when they ask you "why they should hire you".....you should say

"I believe I am a good match for this job because I am not on any sex offender registry and I have really good looking teeth."

Tell them that they should hire you because you have the skills/talents/abilities to do the job, but not JUST to do the job, but to do the job exceptionally WELL. Be prepared to support that statement with examples which you might like to throw in along the way to soften that apparently egotistical statement. Good luck ,-)

EXCELLENT comment! Hahaha. You really can't blame most people who steal. The job search process is all TOTAL nonsense fabricated by selfish people.

Bottom line in a recession you must be skilled at what you do, let your skill dictate the interview as well as how well you can work with others, if your skillful you will get hired

I would like to put my two cents in, some of these questions will be asked by idiots, if you are a professional, go in and talk about the job, try to know everything you need to know about the job, and go in the interview and speak how well you can perform day to day duties, all those corny questions H.R. asks you like "what are weaknesses" are bullshit politically correct questions, for my sports oriented people interviews are similar to a G.M.
