You can hear it in the mornings too.... if you're up early enough, trying to catch fresh tracks! In mid season they bomb every morning as early as 6 (I live about a 5 min drive from the village and can hear the blasts if I'm up)... and sometimes if there is a TON of snow you can hear them bombing well in to the middle of the day!

We only ever heard them do this at night, so we would be sitting out on the balcony have a beer and this massive explosion would go off on Blackcomb, scared the shit out of us almost every night!
