Firefight in Cykla, near Haditha, Iraq

The strike took place near Haditha in the village of Cykla, where insurgents were using buildings as safe houses and firing positions. Marines and Iraqi security forces were on patrol when insurgents armed with rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fired at them from three buildings. Three laser-guided bombs and one global positioning system-guided bomb successfully destroyed all three buildings and caused minimal collateral damage to the surrounding community.

I wish everyone would stop the bickering about the U.S.'s policies and military tactics. I disagree with the occupation in Iraq like many soldiers who are deployed there and at this point there is hardly anything we can do that will end the military occupation in Iraq. If there was, we would have done it by now. The best thing we could do is to give moral support to all our troops overseas that are in harms way and pray for their safe return home. wether we agree with the situation or not.

no one but the u.s seemed to care when russia invaded afghanastin for political reasons only..so i dont give a damn if we are in iraq for oil..in fact russis invaded AG. JUST TO EXPAND THERE TERRITORY so everybody get off the u.s back and another thing we really dont need to go to war for oil when we are takeing all these steps so we dont hav to use oil like the hybrids cars and solar pantels and windmills.. all that so one day we wont depend on oil
